No. The trap is completely odourless to humans. The pheromones used are imperceptible to our sense of smell but irresistible to spiders and certain insects.

Place them in dark, damp corners where spiders often pass or hide: under furniture, behind skirting boards, beneath the sink, in the garage, cellar, or cupboards. Avoid well-ventilated areas, as this disperses the pheromones.
