Simply set the left dial for sensitivity to the middle position to start. You can adjust this setting later depending on the desired detection range. Then, turn the right dial to the desired mode:

• Mode 3 for ultrasound only, adapted for pigeon hearing range
• Mode 4 for LED flashes only
• Mode 5 (recommended) for variable frequency + flashes, the most effective mode against pigeons

Next, install the device as needed: stake it into the ground using the supplied peg, fix it to a wall using the built-in slot, or simply place it on a stable surface near the area to protect.

If the device is placed in the shade, remember to recharge it occasionally using the supplied USB cable. In full sunlight, the integrated solar panel ensures complete autonomy, day and night.

Leave the device active around the clock, including at night. Nighttime is when the flashes are most effective, as they create maximum visual contrast in low-light conditions. Continuous operation also allows pigeon to associate the zone with discomfort and learn to avoid it as part of their habits.

PigeonChaser operates using a PIR infrared sensor that automatically detects the presence of birds within a radius of about 20-25 feet and a 90° angle. When a bird enters the zone, the device activates to emit ultrasounds and/or light flashes depending on the selected mode. This dual stimulation disturbs birds, encouraging them to leave the area without causing them harm.
