The DeerDefender® is powered by 3 rechargeable lithium batteries via a built-in solar panel or a USB cable. After 10 hours of sunlight or 2 hours of USB charging, it operates for over 10 days without recharging. The solar panel is capable of capturing sunlight even in cloudy weather.

Install it in the area to be protected, preferably facing the path of the deer. Use function 5, recommended for deer, which activates the triple action (ultrasound, red and white flashes, vibrations). Other modes can be tested for specific effects, but mode 5 remains the most effective. Installation is simple: secure it with the provided stake or place it on a stable surface.

The infrared sensor detects the presence of animals within a 10-metre range and a 120° angle. The device then emits targeted ultrasounds, red and white stroboscopic light flashes, and generates ground vibrations through a motor in its base.
