The Science Behind

Will it drain my car battery?
No. The device features smart power management. It automatically turns off when the engine starts and reactivates 5 minutes after the engine stops. If the car battery voltage drops too low, RoadentGuard detects it and shuts down to prevent any battery drain.
Does it turn off when I drive?
Yes. As soon as your engine starts, RoadentGuard switches off automatically to avoid interference or unnecessary energy use, and restarts 5 minutes after the engine stops.
How do I install RoadentGuard?
Simply connect the red wire to the positive terminal of your 12V battery and the black wire to the negative terminal. Secure the unit inside the engine bay with a zip tie using the provided holes. That’s it — no tools or setup required.
Is it safe under high temperatures?
Yes. The casing is made of high-temperature-resistant ABS plastic, designed to withstand the heat and vibration conditions inside a running engine.
What power source does it use?
RoadentGuard connects directly to your car’s 12V DC battery. It uses very little power: only 40mA when active and 5mA in standby mode.
Can I use it in other vehicles?
Yes. It’s compatible with all 12V engine systems — including cars, trucks, RVs, tractors, and other motor vehicles where rodents may seek shelter.
